About Remi and Rome

Remi and Rome, our 2-month-old puppies, were found abandoned at 4 weeks old.  Which means your guess is as good as ours when it comes to what breeds they are.  Pitty?  Statistically likely to have a lil’bit.  Sheppy? Sure.  Pomeranian?  Well, we did learn those come in XXL so also a maybe.  Honestly, it doesn’t matter.  We suspect they’ll be about 60-70 pounds fully grown and if you adopt either of them you get to make up what designer breed they are.

Although their personalities are still forming, both of the puppies are really coming into their own.  Rome, the brown puppy, is sweet and adventurous.  More on the laid-back side, Rome is snuggly and quiet.  He is almost as curious as he is clumsy and has a good sense of humor.  If he were a college kid, Rome would be on the quad with a Hackey Sack.  Remi, on the other hand, would be doing keg stands at the frat house.   Although Remi barges into the room with the confidence of someone who wants to explain crypto-currency to you, he is also very sweet and loves cuddles.  In fact, he likes to be reassured like the fragile butterfly he actually is when his super sick trick didn’t land the way he thought it would.  Very food motivated, Remi will be fun to train.  

Both puppies have been great with cats and have been socialized with people.  They are as crate and pen trained as 8-week-old puppies can be.  All puppies need vaccines every 3 weeks until they are 16 weeks old.  Remi and Rome have received their first vaccines and have been microchipped and dewormed.  They are current on their flea and heartworm preventatives.  All puppies need ongoing socialization and training, so their adopters should be prepared for puppy kindergarten.  The adoption fee of $600 each includes their neuter when they are between 6-9 months old.
