Adoption Application

Thank you so much for your interest in meeting one of our Stumptown Strays! We are run by volunteers who all have full-time jobs, but your application will be sent to the foster parent and they will reach out to set up a meeting as soon as possible.

Please keep in mind that we are a small rescue and have limited space to foster dogs and cats. For that reason, we are unable to hold animals once they are adopted, or to hold animals for people to think about it, or to hold the dog or cat until they can meet more family members. If you do set up a meeting, make sure all family members who are in on the decision-making process will be present as well as all other dogs.

If you are not sure you want to adopt our animal after meeting them, no worries! But we will allow the next person in line a chance to adopt. Please try to be ready to take the dog or cat home with you immediately once adopted. If you still need supplies or a crate, postpone the meeting until you have everything set up. That said, we hope it’s a match!
