About Gilbert

Personality: Friendly, Affectionate, Playful, Brave, Funny

Gilbert, our 3 month old 4 pound kitten, came to us from our friends at Fences for Fido. He was found during one of their fence builds with an injured eye. Gilbert needed a chance to heal so we happily took him in. It has taken several weeks of antibiotics, but Gilbert's eye is finally on the mend! He may always have a scar on the cornea of his right eye, but he's pain free and can see just fine.

Gilbert is a cuddly, funny, friendly kitten. He loves to play and we think he would thrive being the little brother to another playful cat. Gilbert is litter box trained and not destructive. He has sharp kitten teeth and likes to play with toes, so we recommend older kids for Gilbert's home. Although we have not seen him with dogs, we suspect a cat savvy canine friend would work out fine.

We microchipped, vaccinated and neutered Gilbert. He is FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed and current on his flea preventatives. Gilbert will need vaccines every 3 weeks until he is 16 weeks old, at which point he can have his rabies vaccine.
