Dipper, our 8 year old 45 pound husky, is excited about the news. The earth is about to get a second moon! Sure, Dipper can't actually *see* the moon, but he knows it's there, and he practices his a-woo-woo daily to welcome our newest celestial friend. If you've ever known a husky, you know the noises they make are the best. Know what else is the best? Our Dipper.

Some jerk (pardon our language) left Dipper alone in an apartment when they moved. The shelter reached out to us for help. Dipper had bilateral glaucoma, which is very painful, and was blind. He needed to have his eyes removed so he could finally feel comfortable. He's recovered from surgery (had a neuter and a dental at the same time) and is so much happier.

It's hard to find any faults with Dipper. He's been blind for a long time and gets around with no problems, even on stairs. Dipper loves everyone he meets. He's playful with big and little dogs and is respectful of cats (even letting them hang on to his tail as he walks around the room). He is crate and potty trained and respectful in the house. Dipper loves walks and is great on a leash. Typical of his breed, Dipper talks a lot, so a thin walled apartment with intolerant neighbors may not be a good fit.

Dipper is heartworm negative and current on his flea and heartworm preventatives.

Huskies don't need an extra moon to throw their heads up and howl. Dipper will be happy to howl about finding his forever home. Is it you?
