About Bram
Personality: Affectionate, Smart, Funny, Loves, Playful, Friendly
Bram, our 56 pound 8 month old sheppy puppy, is open to making a toy out of anything. Flexibility is an admirable trait, so we appreciate that about Bram. Although, like most puppies, he enjoys stuffies and squeakers, Bram's just as happy to play with the empty box they came in. So don't worry about spending a ton of money on toys when you take Bram home; just check your recycling bin.
Bram came to us from the shelter after he was found stray and injured; he was likely hit by a car. Thanks to the @1510Foundation for covering Bram's care in it's entirety, we were able to get Bram the surgery he needed for his broken leg and pelvis. Bram is finally healed and can do all the same things any other puppy can do. His back leg did heal a bit crooked, so he has a slightly penguin-like gait, but is comfortable and happy.
Described by his foster family and sweet and gentle, Bram has been a delightful house guest. He is very friendly and is great with the other dogs in his foster home. Although we have not seen him with cats, we suspect he would do fine with proper introductions. Bram should also do fine with kids over 6.
Bram doesn't love being in a crate but has been working on being left alone and is coming a long way. He is good on a leash and likes to meet other people on walks. Although potty-trained and eager to please, like all puppies, Bram would benefit from ongoing training. Since he's so smart and food motivated, this should be a breeze. When Bram isn't playing, he's all about cuddling, so his home should be prepared to snuggle up at night.
Bram is heartworm negative and current on his flea and heartworm preventatives.
Been wondering what to do with that paper bag? Bram can help you with that.
