About Kyle

Personality: Affectionate, Funny, Loves, Playful, Friendly

Kyle, our 3 year old 11 pound Maltese Yorkie mix (aka a Morkie), would make a terrible super-hero. Sure, he healed really well from many injuries, which made us think of Wolverine. But Kyle doesn't do anything else that would qualify as a super-power. Like, anything. He can't even effectively dodge a car. Ah well, our perfectly normal Morkie is now looking for his forever home.

Kyle was found after being hit by that aforementioned car. He sustained multiple fractures to his ribs, toes and front left leg. Although his front leg healed a little wonky (it's a bit shorter than it was and now the wrist doesn't bend), he did heal and he runs around like any other dog.

Described as the "best moral support for other dogs getting baths", Kyle makes a good friend. He likes both small and big dogs and is great with cats. Kyle is very friendly, and loves toys, playing (wrestling like a maniac is his favorite) and lounging on available laps. At night, Kyle will insist on snuggling and likes to be carried like a baby. Kyle is a remarkably sweet dog and we expect he would do well with kids over 10.

Kyle doesn't love being in a crate, but his foster family has been working on this. They have come a long way with his potty training; Kyle still has the occasional accident. We think Kyle would do best with someone who is home a lot or someone with another dog. He's a bit clingy and picks a person to follow around like a shadow. Being alone makes Kyle sad but he does fine if his dog friends are there.

Kyle is heartworm negative and is current on his flea and heartworm preventatives.

Have you been nervous about adopting a dog in case it turns out they can fly? Or has super-human strength? Well, then Kyle is the guy for you. He only can do dog things.
